In 2018, Bryan Insurance Agency established the Denny Bryan Memorial Scholarship. Any Graham High School senior is eligible to apply and can be used towards any form of continuing education including college, trade school, certification, and licensure.
Denny was a giver, he helped anyone and everyone. He volunteered. He praised and rewarded others, showed persistence, he was kind, and he was generous. The scholarship is based on the individual showing to have characteristics like Denny.
Applicants are required to submit the Common Application from the Graham High School counselors. Along with the application, they are to submit a letter written by someone other than family who knows the student well. The letter should outline the characteristics the student possesses with examples that prove what the student stands for.
Selection of the winner is by blind committee of employees of Bryan Insurance Agency.
