Ashley Hodges used her Bryan Care's day to volunteer in our schools to perform eye screenings for the Lion's Club of Graham. At Pioneer, screens were performed for all students in pre-k and kindergarten. This tool is very helpful, especially for children or adults who are non-verbal, or maybe can’t communicate. There was a student who did not pass, and the teacher said she thought so. This tool replaces the old eye chart you are used to, by reading letters and covering each eye. Ashley's next step is to get certified and help the Lion's Club even further.
